I have had this for almost a year? I’ve worn it in the ocean worn it in the shower, working out, etc. it’s great. If it has tarnished I haven’t been able to tell. I get compliments all the time on it and have purchased it for friends. I will say that some letters look nicer than others but I think that’s a font issue. They do get twisted but I find that wearing them both at the same time all the time is sometimes too much for the way I usually dress, so the one is good.
