Got this to replace another I had purchased about 4 years ago. It's the same materials and same design but was a lot cheaper. So far, no scratches and seems to be holding up like the other one that's still in great shape after 4 years. Only time will tell if this one lasts the same as the other, but I do get constant compliments on it :)

The ring itself is heavy, strong, and seemed durable. Seemed just like the ones at the jewelry stores. He has been wearing it for one week and it already has noticeable scratches on it. He works as a conductor on a train and always wears gloves so the ring is protected at work. I know this material in not scratch proof but I did not expect it to scratch up this quickly. Very pretty design and the company itself was quick on the shipping, just not satisfied on the quality of the product.
