This necklace really looks like it cost way more than it does.The chain, being gold plated brass is delicate but looks great. The onyx sits high on the neck. The stone itself is perfectly cut. The color is an even deep black with no spots. It looks perfect with a nice polished shine.The pendant holding it likewise is also perfectly made. All smooth edges, no rough spots, fit and finish is very good.This piece also comes in a nice box, with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing legitimacy of the stone.This is a beautiful looking piece. My wife was surprised how nice it looks. She loves it!5 Stars.

I love lapis. Unfortunately this does not look real. It looks like someone painted the stone with gold paint.The setting and chain are pretty, but the color is so yellow that it looks nothing like actual gold.
