Ok, so I ordered a couple of these for different occasions. Sorry, but I'm not impressed at all! They are very cheaply made, to the point that I'm embarrassed to wear them. I haven't', and I won't. Don't waste your money.

These are made for costumes, obviously not for an upscale event. But they sure are fun! I think this is very pretty. It did throw me off a little, because there are holes that look like gem settings and I thought the gems might be missing, until I double checked the listing. The gems are not missing, it is just the style of the brooch. I am surprised at how many facets are showing, particularly in the blue gem, considering this is just inexpensive costume jewelry!

This comes in a nice gift box, though I would only give this to a young person who I really knew wanted it. To me they seem a bit like a fad item, but they have been popular for a while and my own son really likes them.These aren't expensive but they look nice. if you handle them you can tell the metals cheap, but the design work is good, and they look nice. One of the reasons I would be careful with gifting these is because well I know three teens who really like them, they can be particular about them. My son didn't care for this one as much as I'd hoped because he wanted only ones that had pendants that matched up side to side. And what depends on if it's going to be worn on the side of a vest jacket or sweater, or dead center.

The pin has a multi color stone, mostly green. Nicely designed, both ends look very pretty.

These KINGPiiN lapel pins and brooches are a very mixed bag. Some are cute and quite funny; some are pins that an adult could wear at work, and attract comments and compliments. Some would make good backpack or hat ornaments. And some just don’t quite work, for a variety of different reasons.I can identify some sound predictors: in general, the pins that are most figural are most successful. Thus the little sailboat/s (there are several different options) work, and so does the little hammer and the eyeglasses frame. And in general, the ones that are stamped don’t work so well. The stamping is not artfully done, and it is hard to tell what they are supposed to be. Also, in general, the painted or silver pins are the best. And the ones with black chains are the least successful.I like this piece. It is pretty small and understated....except for the central stone, which attracts both attention and interest. I suspect that I will wind up either replacing the chain with a less obviously flimsy one, or simple tossing the chain altogether.

This pin came shipped in a cute box that would be great for gift wrapping.The pin itself is a bright and shiny gold color and looks great on darker fabrics. It is very detailed and nice looking. The crystal and gem are very shiny and don't look cheap. The colorful gem is really eye catching. The chains tend to get twisted, but I expected that to happen. It takes a couple minutes to straighten out the links once you have the pin attached to your lapel.It is costume jewelry, so skin oils will eventually discolor it. It is a pin, so it shouldn't have too much contact with the skin and discoloration shouldn't be an issue for much longer than if it were a ring or bracelet.I took off a star because the price point feels quite high for the pin. It is a nice pin, but not $13 nice.
