My review is average because this is an average set of earrings. The metal is already tarnished after one wear. They hurt my ears also and I am not allergic/sensitive to anything. The metal is dark colored so it doesn't look like either silver or gold. I needed an orange pair of earrings for something and as soon as that occasion is over I'll probably give/throw these away. For the price - you get what you get. The stones are pretty colors.
