These foam cuffs don't want to fit the arm, they want to lay flat, so it's very difficult to tighten them while wearing them, and they aren't sized in a way where you can tighten them and then put them on. However, if you manage to get someone's help with putting them on, they end up looking really cool! They're very chunky so they require an outfit that balances out the visual weight of them, so they mage a great addition to an armored look.

I didn't use these as cuffs like their intended purpose, though they definitely could have been. I used these as leg guards and added my own straps to them since I have smaller calves (I'm a 5'5" woman for reference). They're a bit bulky for my arms, but would definitely still work anyway. The material is sturdy, the paint job is honestly excellent, and it looks overall great. Highly recommend!

My husband went as a Viking for Halloween and they were spot on. They fit just fine even though he's on the bigger side of everything and they looked great. Even though they're made from foam it definitely feels more like a soft, thick plastic.There are straps on the back that keep them secured and they worked great and were sturdy. Definitely a good purchase.

So, I love the design of these. The scroll work looks great. They are lightweight and fit around sleeves of shirts. The only thing is, as a woman with small wrists and forearms, they were HUGE and hard to strap down snug enough so they wouldn't move around. They looked HUGE on me. Now, when my husband tried them on, they looked MUCH better. The foam doesn't bend enough to snugly to wrap around my forearm to make it look even somewhat realistic. The buckles leathers are way too long for me, and on the smallest setting it was still loose - even over a shirt. But again, it worked great on my husband who has much thicker wrists and forearms. So I'd recommend these as a men's cosplay supply based on that along (thus the minus one-star).

I bought a round of gear for a Ren Fest last year and was super disappointed in the quality -- fake and cheap leather that wasn't comfortable or good-looking. These wrist guards are the absolute opposite -- super comfortable foam material that's molded and painted in a way to make them look very realistic. The buckles and straps are located well and easy to fasten. They look great, feel great, great purchase for your Ren Fest or cosplay.

These are made of a very thick foam or rubber and they're unexpectedly chunky. I tried them out but haven't worn them with a costume yet, so I'm not entirely decided on whether or not I like them, but the first impression is that they're just a bit too big and clunky. They do look nice, and they'd be comfortable enough over a sleeve, so just keep all that in mind if you're interested in purchasing these.

These are fairly sturdy and work well with any Viking costume or cosplay you may be doing. It works for what I need it for and is still holding up for even a halloween costume. Hopefully this can last for several more years. It looks especially cool from afar and realistic. They aren’t that heavy so it won’t add to the weight of a costume much and you can still move around with them on.
