Read all the reviews including the one that says that this necklace is made to fit a child. ~sic~rolling my eyes~decided to order it and so pleased I did.....it can be worn daily, regardless of events of the day. The chain can be adjusted to wear it at several different lengths. If you're looking for something you can wear everyday as I have since receiving it, don't hesitate, it's a very versatile!

6/12/17 Update: THE worst clasp on any necklace I've ever worn. Need the assistance of anyone around to put it on and certainly to adjust the length as the circle for a shorter length is miniscule. Still like the necklace but it's drama getting on! Be forewarned.This necklace is very delicate; I feel like I might break it if I handle it too hard. But, having said that, it's really lovely, and the length is adjustable. I bought two for Mother's Day - one for me and one for my mom for us to wear together though we're far apart (NY/FL). I cannot say it's worth $33, but I liked that this provides a choice of length where the less expensive ones did not. My mom likes longer, I like shorter. I do recommend.
