I have to admit after reading many of the other reviews I was a bit skeptical about buying it because they kept talking about how thin it was and afraid that it would bend and lose shape. But I've had it for a little over a week now and I wear it everyday (and for anyone who knows me, knows that I wear 5 other rings that I put on and take off every night, but this one, stays on all the time). And through hand washings, dishes, daily work schedules and all, it keeps it's shine and luster and has not bent or gotten any dings or been misshapen! I do agree, it is lightweight, it is not thick/solid gold-filled, hence the price (look at the picture of the inside)... but that shouldn't be a deterrent - it basically makes a really nice-looking, classy gold ring affordable for everyone! As far as the blend of yellow and white gold, because of the percentage of yellow gold, there are times when it appears that it is ALL yellow gold,like if it is under a very bright light... but mostly you can see both gold tones, in dimly lit and average lighting rooms, in the sun and in the car etc. But especially for the price, it makes a really nice gift and a very classy (but not 'over-the-top') statement and people stop to notice! If you're 'on the fence', don't be... it's definitely worth the price!
