Through the years our company has been able to witness firsthand the production process of fine gold and sterling silver jewelry since we have manufacturers who create sterling silver chain from smelting to final polishing and packaging. We also have ones who start from mixing alloys. We watched as the sterling silver gets poured into a casting machine, solidified, then formed into a rod. We observed as the sterling silver rod is turned into a coil then into a wire, which is then distributed to different types of machines that will create the silver chain we need. We were also given the opportunity to have a hands-on experience of soldering the clasps on the silver chain.

So thankful that I enlarged from 20 to 22. The necklace fits as perfectly as could be. The sparkle and color is comparable to my 18k in the 80's. I have had no problem with latching, and will follow up if I notice the color change another reviewer wrote. I am considering the magnet option to avoid any damage in a previous review. I cannot imagine that gold filled latches are made, but the company claims they are. The weight of the necklace is substantial, and looks outstanding!As I always do, I will update my review as time passes. It is only fair to consumers to read a review after the products have been kicked about for a time. Most products look great when the box is opened, but time always tells the truth. As of now, the necklace is an ez 5☆s. I will follow up for better or worse. This is the only true review!
