Pure Gold, known as 24k gold, is entirely gold, 24 parts out of 24. Most jewelry however, is made from either 18k, 14k, or 10k gold. Pure gold is alloyed with other metals for added strength and to produce a variety of colors, most commonly yellow, white, and rose. The percentage of gold to its weight plus the alloy is what is referred to as the karat of gold. Higher karat gold jewelry products offer heightened intrinsic value than their lower karat equivalents.

From Factory Direct To You
Smelting is a procedure wherein a metal is extracted from its ore by heating beyond melting point, usually with the presence of oxidizing agents. Through smelting, pure metals such as silver ingots and gold ingots are produced.
Through the years our company has been able to witness firsthand the production process of fine gold and sterling silver jewelry since we have manufacturers who create sterling silver chain and gold chain from smelting to final polishing and packaging. We also have ones who start from mixing alloys.
We watched as 24K gold is distributed accordingly to produce the desired gold carat chain, mixed with its corresponding alloy and melted and gets poured into a casting machine, solidified, then formed into a rod. We observed as the gold rod is turned into a coil then into a wire, which is then distributed to different types of machines that will create the gold chain necklace we need. We were also given the opportunity to have a hands-on experience of soldering the clasps on to the gold chain necklace.
Each KoolJewelry gold chain necklace is placed inside a zip lock type bag, then packaged in a KoolJewlery branded black velvet pouch; ready for gift giving.

This is for the smallest chain in my photo (although I also bought the 2mm wheat 20” chain off of Amazon as well !).. the 1mm (smallest chain- 18”) is perfect ! I love it. I don’t like to put anything on mine, I just like to wear them plain and they go with anything I wear. It has not broken so far, I wear it 24/7 LITERALLY and it has done its job well.Update from May 2021 to August 7 2022 :In EXCELLENT condition. Has not torn off, is not worn out and still shiny and pretty. Great product !

Lovely chain. I bought this to hold a cherished talisman. It is the perfect length and weight. Sturdy and shiny, yet does not detract from the charm. Plan to order another in a longer length. Love it!

The Square Wheat design is beautiful, giving the chain a solid look - no link is individually visible, giving an impression of a solid, textured line, which a like. Clamp is a little difficult to work with but I hardly take it off so not an issue for me.I do however wish it was around 1.5mm thick, since at 1.1mm it can be mistaken for a lady's chain. Unfortunately with gold prices the way they are, this was all I could afford at the moment. Overall pretty happy with it.
