the red star, the domed dial cover and the nato strap - all look sufficiently cool and vintage. no one asked me though - what watch is that....but I know people are looking - as in all vostok watches the position 2 to wind the watch is hard to set and the crown is so wobbly it feels broken....the idea of a military style is better achieved with a grey / green stripe but what is offered is black and gey ( not bad) but not in sync with the image or concept. - for a truly mechanical feeling I think everyone should add this to their collection - but whether it will find trusty wrist time on a regular basis is another matter...niche brand, niche product and a cultish feeling....my second vostok....

This is a nice-looking, inexpensive watch. It has a comfortable heaviness that poorly made watches don't have. I wasn't aware that it didn't have a battery (because I did no research), so there was s small learning curve for it. No big deal. Looks great, feels great, would recommend!

It feels like a toy at first. But after careful observation and some time you appreciate the history and innovation of this timepiece. I put it on a PB Code NATO and it looks amazing. The crown design is a bit alarming at first but once you realize it was designed that way you appreciate it. It is a piece of Cold War History for under 100 bucks...

You really can't get more value for your money from any other watch. This thing is a work horse! Beautiful watch with an in house movement, not to mention its horological significance, you can't go wrong with this purchase. No tracking info, but still arrived sooner than expected

I like this watch a lot. I like that it is mechanical. I like that it is heavy but not uncomfortable. I know nothing about watches and have never really worn one with any regularity prior to buying this one, but I'm glad I happened upon it and decided I didn't mind waiting a little longer for shipping from Russia.
