It was a done deal as soon as this bracelet caught my eye. The only question was the nominal one of whether to pay tribute to my Dad, Son or Brother. All three, of course, have great meaning to me. I will still have many opportunities to demonstrate that to my son, so it was between my dad, who passed away many years ago, or to my brother, who I’ve now outlived by five years or so. The bracelet comes in a nicely designed gift box with a satiny interior. Included is a keepsake, gift card sharing thoughtful sentiments. Measuring just over eight inches in length, the bracelet is a comfortable loose fit for my slender wrists. With the onyx bead, leather and braided strands it appears, at a glance, that I am wearing three bracelets instead of one. The clasp is joined magnetically. I wish the magnet was more powerful. But the minimal, timeless appeal of the clasp has a power of its own. The clasp’s knotted, infinity design symbolizes the “forever linked together” notion that unites loved ones, and will long keep my brother in my memory.
