These are yet another stunning pair of KS earrings. I was a little perplexed with the online image and wondered how true it was to the actual earrings. It turns out the online image is pretty accurate and not exaggerated at all. The black mother of pearl reflects different colors depending on the light; black, brown, rose, green and clear even. In addition, each color that it reflects also comes in various hues. The black for example, is not uniform...The black is lighter black in some parts and darker black in others. Its a truly spectacular mélange of reflections that coordinate beautifully with each other. These earrings are versatile in that they willl go with any color you want to wear. They also look dressy enough for a classy event yet can also be worn in a casual setting. As with any signature Danielle earrings, they come to 2.5 inches and are overall very sturdy and well-crafted. Personally I would have preferred these particular earrings to be gold-plated rather rhodium-plated but its not a big deal. They are a tad bit heavy in that you can feel them when moving your head around but are at the same time comfortable enough that you won't be suffering wearing them. Unfortunately, one of the earrings from the pair I received was chipped so I had to return them and instead kept the equivalent Alex pair. So when purchasing this pair, make sure your earrings are not chipped or cracked at the surface. I didn't take down any stars for this because the return process was effortless. If you like black mother of pearl and classy earrings, you will love these.
