Soft colors and non-spherical, these are great earrings at a good price. I bought these for my girlfriend as part of a collection of pearls (necklace, bracelet, stud earrings, dangle earrings and opal earrings)  14K White Gold Round 3mm Opal Screw-back Stud Earrings   Sterling Silver 5.5-6mm Genuine Freshwater Cultured White Pearl Necklace Bracelet & Stud Earrings Set  and gave each piece one at a time as if it was the only (and then they were the only) gift(s). She loved them, and still wears the pearls everywhere, formally and informally. One great thing about pearls is their versatility.I was amazed at how large (approx. 3/8" diameter) these pearls were. They look much bigger in person than 9mm would suggest. A great buy.

I own a black pearl necklace that I pulled out of the oyster myself. It's quality is far greater than what I received. The best part of it is that it was free, I just had to pay for the setting. The pearl I received from here is misshapen and has concentric circles running through the middle. I realize that this is a style of pearl but I had no idea just how cheap they look. It isn't just that, I could live with that. Where the hole was drilled for the earring post, there is a white gluey mess. On top of all of that the earring hooks are bent and misshapen. There is ZERO excuse for those two things. If you really want a nice pearl I would advise looking elsewhere. If you don't mind a tacky and cheap set of earrings, go ahead and waste your money. They arrived quickly and they were packaged okay. The bag they come with was in nice condition but the box jewelry box the earring are in was filthy and had a cut all the way across the top. The seller states that they are moderately blemished pearls and what I received would not pass for that. The pearls themselves were extremely blemished and the setting they were in was cheap (must have been for them to look as bent and mangled as they do.) What I received was to be a gift that I now will not be giving because I would be ashamed to give this to anyone. Obviously I am an extremely dissatisfied customer. I hope you all (if you choose to order from here) have much better success than I did.

It is really hard to find nice drop pearls at a bargain price and these are okay for the price and perhaps acceptable, but only at the $15 and never at the $89 SRP or supposed appraised value. You could never resale these for $89. Even at $15, they are probably overpriced for the workmanship on these earrings. As other reviewers stated, they are flawed, yet not naturally flawed by the growth of the pearl inside the mollusk but by the handling of the jeweler or whosoever drilled the holes for the pins. Whoever is doing this needs to be much more careful and conscientious in what they are doing and/or more training in how this is done without damaging the beauty of the pearl itself. It is really uncalled for with the proper tools that this company should have if they are in the pearl jewelry business. In other words these earring would actually be very beautiful except for the way they were handled and that is a crying shame. The pair I received are very round with very nice color & luster, so to see the cuts and chips into the nacre by the handling is very disappointing! The irony of this is that you get a certificate of authenticity and appraisal for $89, like the company is trying to appear like pearl aficionados, yet they don't care about the handling and make of the jewelry itself--sad. The elegant, velvet lined box is really cheap but the oriental, silk pouch is cute though.

The pearls were lovely and arrived on time in really nice packaging. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the color of the pearls in person is slightly different from the color online. The online color looked like it had a bluish or purplish hue. The pearls in person were a solid black color that did not match the Tahitian pearl necklace I'd hoped to wear them with.

Lovely pearl earrings at a great price. I lost my set and needed to match a necklace. They work great and seem a nice quality. The Pearls Only packaging and care to detail really show. They want you to be happy with your product.

At first glance these earrings are great! The freshwater pearl is big and pretty. They hang on a nice sterling silver, locking type setting that won't get lost easily. I loved all of these qualities and that is why I purchased them. I was shocked though to see that one of the pearls looked as if someone had cut 3 grooves in the side of it. They were not actually cuts but flaws that are so apparent and deep that they look like cuts. I was very disappointed as I was going to give them for a gift and couldn't. I gave them 3 stars as they are silver and very large pearls for under twenty bucks. The grooves however are rediculous and show that the company does not have high standards!!!
