We bought the 7.5-8 mm 18" necklace for 399. We are no experts on pearls, but thought the white color, luster, matching, and size of the pearls were exceptional at this price. (We had to request a certificate of authenticity directly from the company, which they sent promptly as a printable email. The presentation box was fine for gifting.)

It's overall a beautiful strand of pearls. I'm very happy with the size, color, and lustre. However, I wish it came with a certificate or something stating the size and quality of the pearls from the company. I'm not sure how it's classified as AAA quality because I still see rough and uneven surface on some of the pearls or is it just this strand of pearls I got. I'm not a pearl expert so I don't know if that's natural occurrence on pearls of AAA quality.

I have been wanting to purchase pearls for my sister as a gift for some time and recently checked out a sale on pearls at a very nice local jewelry store. After contemplating the purchase, I thought I would try Amazon in case I found what I was looking for at a better price and voila, they actually carry pearl jewelry! The pearls I ordered are lovely and literally were hundreds less than I would have paid acquiring them on sale. I'm picky about my jewelry and would wear these in a heartbeat. My sister has yet to open her present but there is no doubt she will love them. I was skeptical about ordering them but now that I've seen the product, highly recommend giving Akoya AAA pearls from La Regis a try!

This strand is a classic: just the right size, well-matched with inner glowing luster without being flashy. I could not see any flaws without a magnifying glass and, best of all, the wife loved the pearls. I normally don't writer reviewed, but I bought this necklace based other reviews. I do not not think the pearls is AAA quality as they claimed, there is a lot of of scratches and flaw on the pearls. I paid around 400 dollars and expected more. The necklace look decent and the size of the pearls are accurate.

I would describe the appearance of these pearls as being exquisite. I have worn this necklace almost every day since its arrival. I would be remiss if I did not mention how I have noticed several of my acquaintances glancing at it with pure admiration.Please know that the packaging of this product is staged for the finest presentation (e.g., Gift-boxed that included a beautiful ribbon). Although I am quite pleased with my purchase, I am as equally disappointed that I did not receive a certificate of authenticity since I deem this to be an investment.
