They do look just like the pictures. They do look like gold as the tone is very similar to that of solid gold; however, you can totally tell by the cut and shine of the stones that they are CZ. I do think they are overpriced. They come very nicely packaged in a jewelry box that's inside of a cardboard box and then in a bag. They also come with additional butterflies (the things that go on the post in the back of the ear to keep the earrings on).

Studs are beautiful but claps are not sturdy. This item came with 3 sets if clasps, signaling they know there us a problem Within first 3 days 1 earring fallout and I used a send cladp. Two days later fell out again and was lost. 7 days later, 2nd earring fell out. I was not touching the earrings at either time. I recommend to all to keep shopping for a different set of studs.
