We purchased this for our daughter's baptism, and this is her first piece of "real" gold jewelry. The packaging is a little on the simple side, and BE SURE TO OPEN PRIOR TO GIFT GIVING! Inside the package, the necklace was in a small plastic bag, and some would probably have found it cheap or tacky to open the traditional jewelry box to not see the necklace on display. The chain is thin and delicate, to be expected at this price range, but not so much that it feels frail. We're overall happy with the purchase, and our daughter loves it! I'd encourage the seller to add information to their listing which makes it easy for the jewelry-ignorant to know what the size actually is, such as pictures in perspective to a coin, etc., and to instruct purchasers to open the jewelry box before giving if they want to have a traditional product presentation.

I bought this a gift. My daughter, age 43, said the clasp is so frustrating to try to open, she won’t wear it. She said she’ll have to buy another chain that has a larger clasp. I am now past the refund return date. I have wasted my money.
