They are beautiful but they don't stay on your ear up like that. They eventually slip downwards. I love them still and think they are beautiful.

The flower is supposed to fit on the back of the ear, before you place the earring back on the post. Very awkward and the flower would not stay up on the ear lobe. I have skinny ear lobes, so I don't think these would even work for children. Also, these made my ear lobes itch like crazy! I fell victim to the cheap price of $5. Stupid me.

These actually look just like the picture, but they are way bigger and clunkier than you might expect. The don't look as cute on, but they are OK, and it is too annoying to return stuff on Amazon, so I will keep these, or maybe give them away as a gift to someone ages 8-14.
