When I opened the box I was sort of disappointed . Pearls looked like dull stones. HOWEVER...once out of the box and into natural light they seemed to come to life! When worn luster lights up and subtle color hues constantly change in different lighting. I also purchased the matching earrings. My wife wears. the necklace alone or the earrings alone or both. almost daily. She loves them. She's never seen black pearls. Great price . Well made.
