I’m so disappointed. We bought this necklace as our gift for our daughter for her baptism. We loved t at first and she loved it too. After just two weeks the chain has turned BLACK! I understand that silver will tarnish over time and need polishing. I have plenty of silver jewelry. But by no means should this have turned black and so quickly. The cross itself did not tarnish nor did the clasp. Therefore this leads me to believe that the chain is not actually silver. Because we bought this in advance to her baptism and waited to gift it to her until the day of, I’m able to return it because the return window has closed. I’m going to try to find a local jeweler to have this made in white gold. This is simply CHEAP costume jewelry!I would definitely not recommend this item although the design is beautiful and perfect, after just 1-2 weeks it looks terrible!!!
