I can only wear gold due to allergic reaction with my skin from anything else. I found out that I can wear gold plated so I thought I would try this. I was skeptical because of the price, but was pleasantly surprised. The chain I ordered was a nice manly size (real gold I could not afford anything but dainty), and the plating is awesome! Lots of compliments. Does not look like a 10 dollar necklace!

I worked for a jeweler for years, this obviously isn't solid gold not is it advertised as but I believe this is the best bang for your buck on a well made rope chain.

This chain came right on time and was very well packaged. My hopes rose. However, after unpacking it, it seemed fragile. As I attempted to put a lite medal on it, the links began to break and one end of the chain fell apart in my hands and all over my lap. Very poor quality. I will return. I have purchased many items from Amazon; this is the first time I bought a substandard product & I’ve never written a bad review before. Hopefully the last!

Haven't had any problems yet with this chain but it's thicker, it's a rope chain I prefer a 20-in but this is a 22 the 20 were sold out but it's okay for the price plus you can't expect too much from gold plated jewelry I normally buy real gold chains but I wanted to try these since they were cheaper because I had a couple of charms I wanted to put on it
