They are the perfect size for her, not too big or too small. The have a bright gold plating on them. They do not have that high end look close up. They also have the thickest wire that goes through the ear she has ever seen. In a way that is good because it will not deform but it’s just different from what she is used to. She is normally allergic to nickel and lead, so she can tell these don’t have any of these metals in them. The base of the earring is made of 316 stainless steel.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, she loves these earrings. Quite a few of the earrings I have reviewed are very fragile. And no wonder, as they are made from silver. It's hypoallergenic, but any pressure at all will warp the earrings, and usually at the posts. I have been looking for heart shaped dangle earrings to match with a heart choker necklace that I wear with high neck blouses and dresses. But after going through half a dozen, I just did not find a style or material I liked.But then - I found a pair. These GUMENA earrings are one of the best made pair of earrings I have tried on this year, as they are made from stainless steel. They feel solid in your hands, and once they are through your piercing holes, they don't feel particularly heavy. They sit securely on your ears, using a French Hook that also comes with a rubberized backer.And they match my choker. So I'm sold!OVERALL - It's a keeper! Solid, hypoallergenic stainless steel, and a backer system that will keep you from losing one. No matter how hard you dance the night away.

The hooks are too thick to comfortably fit onto a piercing that hasn't been slightly stretched. I have thicker earlobes, and trying to push the hook through one of my earlobes was definitely uncomfortable and painful. I think because of the potentially uncomfortable hooks, I wouldn't recommend buying this pair of earrings, especially when the design of the pendants isn't terribly unique or interesting to begin with. These seem like earrings you could really pass up and not feel bad about. They would potentially be cute and worth considering if the hooks were better refined and suited to all piercing and earlobe types. The manufacturer really should have taken the thickness into consideration and tested them prior to releasing this product.

I have a lot of silver earrings from the past two decades of what seems like silver only fashion. I thought it was time to invest in some gold toned earrings since gold is becoming all the rage. These heart shaped earrings are truly beautiful. They are the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Super comfortable to wear and I love the unique shape of the hoop. They are not heavy at all and dangle nicely. I'm really happy with these earrings! They will look great dressed up or down!

I'm gonna be honest, one of the earrings is flawed. One of the hooks is slightly misshapen, but it's barely noticeable so I've let it go. I like them too much! I'm into gold bamboo jewelry, so had to give these a shot. Love. Their quality is equal to the price being asked, nothing stellar. But they're made well enough that I'm confident I'll get many uses out of them.
