After a whole day of hitting the slopes while wearing a helmet, the spot behind my ears ached where my earring posts were pressed in to my head. It was the server in our dinner restaurant in that cute little ski town who told us his wife solved that problem years ago by only wearing “huggie” style earrings under her helmet. I am thankful to that server for his tip, because having a pair of Huggies means I have since successfully completed many an activity sans ear pain.Because a huggie style earring is smooth all the way around, there is no pokey part to cause discomfort when doing activities that cause your ears to get pressed to your head. That means you can wear a helmet, take a nap, or even wear certain hats without getting poked. It means I no longer have to take out my earrings while traveling and try not to forget where I stashed them. I can simply put the huggies in and forget about them until my need to wear them is over. Different pairs of my huggies have been to the tops of snow covered mountains, several atmospheres below the surface of the ocean under a wetsuit hood, and zip lining through the thick canopy of a jungle.This small golden pair of Huggies is the perfect tiny ear skimming size for active use. Its simple design means it works well alone, or can be paired with other earrings if your ears have that option. They are lightweight enough to feel like they aren’t even there. I highly recommend. I have had a good experience with Sonia Hou products and jewelry. These are nice earrings that I'm wearing in my third hole as they wrap perfectly around my lobes. They are very secure, have not lost them, and I am wearing them constantly. Not fading or tarnishing, even wearing them in the pool they still look nice and shiny. I'm very pleased.

These tiny huggies are a nice compliment to a work outfit. For people who have to wear more basic pieces at work these are a decent choice. Mine came not connected to the box so that was concerning but ultimately, they were both in the box, complete with the designer's tag and care instructions. I usually shy away from gold jewelry but these are so simple that I've been really enjoying them.

I love this style earring with the snap closure. It's much more secure than other styles. I got these for my daughter but I might end up keeping them. I'm loving the fact that these are quality metals, and not just plated brass or something that my sensitive skin can't handle. I can't verify the gold claims, but they look very real.They are pretty small so tough to grasp for removing if your nails are a bit long, but I managed. The packaging leaves a little to be desired for "fine" jewelery, so I'm not sure if I would give it as a gift. The earrings are mounted on a thick chipboard in a cardboard box. No frills.

If you don’t know what vermeil is, it’s real gold plating over sterling silver. So, if the gold ever wears off of these earrings, you will have sterling silver hoops, not trash. The clasp is very secure and will not come undone unless you are intentionally opening them. The hoops are super comfortable and really small but perfect for the minimalist. I like small huggies because i wear headphones all day for work and large earrings become uncomfortable quick! These could be sporty, dressy, casual, lounge jewelry and go with absolutely everything. One other thing, i have rather large lobes and some earring just look really stupid on me and make my ears look bigger. These absolutely fit just.

Great earrings! The vermeil gold and sterling silver is matched by quality construction and good looks. These are good earrings for those days when you don’t want something heavy dangling from your ear lobes. Activities that pose problems for larger jewelry are more comfortable with these stylish earrings.They are meant to hug your ear lobe so keep this in mind if the holes in your ears are farther in from the edge. They might be a bit tight in those circumstances.

I don't change my earrings often and these little earrings are perfect to wear 24/7. So far I haven't had any irritation or issues with these. These earrings look nice and are small enough that they don't interfere with daily life. I forget I have them in. That's a big plus in my book.
