This GLIVEOR gold chain delivers exactly what you'd expect from the listing: an affordable piece of jewelry that accomplishes its desired aesthetic with minimal shortcomings. Additionally, the shortcomings can be understood from the listing: gold plating instead of a solid gold structure, a lower standard of quality than more premium pieces, and distribution by a lesser-known brand. However, these are very small potential downsides compared to the price and again, not hidden from the buyer. From my time unboxing the chain, examining it, and wearing it, everything I took note of was in line with the above thesis and the experience was good overall. So overall, this chain looks good and is high enough quality to be satisfactory at its price!

Overall quality and look of the chain is good. However, as you can see on the photo the gold coating on the lock is defective. Chain has a good good size and thickness and fits well. It seems to be durable. I would give five stars if not the defective coating of the lock. Maybe I wasn't lucky with my specific piece, but it tells that quality control could be better.

Important: This is NOT a sterling silver with 18K gold overlay CHAIN. It is the CLASP only that has that distinction. Clearly an attempt to over-hype the chain. Having said that, you should be expecting very much for a 20 dollar chain. I haven't had it long enough to see if the chain finish can handle everyday wear, sweat, etc., but if you are active and worry about losing your chain, then this one is fine as it is so inexpensive. Having said all that, this chain will do the job to hold your typical pendants like a cross, etc.

Nice chain. I see it more for a man or teenage boy than for a woman, but it would still look good on a woman depending on how she wears it or what she puts on it. I got mine a little too long. I was pretty impressed with the quality though. It doesn't look like it will break easily. Its' a darker yellow gold though. I personally prefer lighter gold but if you like the dark yellow gold then you can't go wrong with this.

My real gold necklace broke so I needed to get one for my trip.I wore the necklace for an hour and then I asked my husband to put my charm on it. The chain broke at the latch leaving it useless. It's a nice chain but too bad it's not well made.I'm not happy that I now don't have a necklace for my trip. I only wanted a necklace to wear for a wedding we were attending in Florida but I guess I won't have one.Very disappointed. I do not recommend.

I needed a gold chain so when I saw this 18K gold chain I just knew I needed it. Once it came, I didn’t realize what I got, it’s strong and its thick I love the clasp its stronger than expected this gold chain is not cheaply made you can feel it. The size was perfect, they even put on cleaning cloth I love that because I haven’t seen that before. I like how it doesn’t get snagged in baby hairs like some chains do. I need to look at more of their chains to replace my other ones that are not as strong.
