When opened and taken in-hand, wow, was I “not” impressed. This thing weighed too much and the necklace too heavy. Nowhere is there a manufacturer’s hallmark stamp and/or note the country of origin. Although, there was a 24K stamp, it’s atypical, excessively large and almost looking as if laser etched. Not even a piece of paper was received that suggests what the listing did. Nothing received gives the slightest suggestion of this being 24K “solid” gold, anywhere. Typically, gold filled jewelry should be marked with a “GF” hallmark stamp, which means the piece is “gold-filled.” There was no “RGP” hallmark stamp, that would indicate that this piece is coated in a rolled gold plate. Not even a “GP” hallmark stamp that would indicate gold plated. Nor a “1/20” hallmark stamp which would have indicated golf filled (plated). I really knew I was in trouble when every piece I tested was attracted to by a magnet. Knowing what I do now, I would have “never” selected this and feel the value at the time this was selected, just over $100, was grossly overvalued for what I received.I would never select this again.I hope my thoughts added information.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a short neck. I thought that would look crazy with anything around my neck. I've been wanting a necklace but never pushed the issue. I saw this one and was in love. It is the perfect fit for me. I don't look crazy. I should have tried one a long time ago. This necklace and charm are really nice and well made. The charm isn't too big for the necklace. This set is lightweight and gorgeous. You can wear it whenever you like, it's real gold!!!! I can wear it ifor every occasion!!!!!

I really wanted to like this product. The design detail on the cross is nice and I liked the included chain style as well. However, the color is off and is more orange than any gold I have ever owned. I used a gold polishing cloth to see if perhaps the piece had been sitting a while and needed a good cleaning, but this is the final cleaned product. I tried to take a picture of my gold ring next to the cross/chain (and you can see the cross detail) so that I could capture the color variance. Maybe it is personal preference, but this is not a color I would prefer. However, the main ding I have for this product is the box. The manufacture makes a point of noting the lovely gift box--then slapped a barcode label directly onto the gift box top? No it is not removable without leaving a bunch of paper and damage to the box so poor execution when you ruin the box.

The details are remarkable on the cross and the feel of the chain is really solid. However, its not 24K solid gold. I expected at least the cross to be solid gold for the price but its not.

I ordered this because it said it was 24k solid gold but it is actually plated gold Not sure of the solid metal type as its not listed but I though it would be great if it was 24k solid for the price. It does not test positive for gold. Other than the fact its not solid gold, it still looks nice.
