However, the use of a slightly less expensive material gives it a more affordable appearance (both good and bad here). A subtle upgrade in material or craftsmanship could elevate its overall aesthetic to a more upscale level.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this necklace is. I really like the heart/sun design element. It is a nice size pendant, larger than some of the tiny necklaces popular in recent yrs. i.e. the tag, tiny discs, but it's not overly large. It still has a sleek appearance.The necklace is well-made especially considering the low price of $13.99 (at the time of this review). It looks exactly like the photos in the listing. The pendant is the same on both sides, there is no front or back. The chain has a nice delicate appearance. The extender is long & it has a strong lobster claw clasp. Easy to put on.But the important feature to me is that it is a nice gold color, not too orange or brassy. Goes a long way to making this look like a quality piece. I put this on with a shorter paper clip necklace for a layered look & it looked great! Looks good by itself or with other necklaces. Recommended.

This is a very cute simple heart necklace, but it is very well made. I was very pleased with the necklace chain, it is a nice length and the clasp works well. If giving this heart, necklace as a gift, it comes in a box enclosed in another display box, that could be used for something else as well.
