I have several compass medallions, but this one is my new favorite.Often times the medallion is too large and the chain too short (and/or lightweight), but this medallion is just the size I like (about .8") and the cord length was just right. The detailing on this medallion is well done and the bit of bling in the center is a nice touch. I prefer the cord over the usual cheap chains. Very happy with thisUpdate - leather cord only lasted a few wearings. Cord came our of the metal end cap. Unacceptable for the price spent. Disappointed
