I am ignorant of ring technology and nomenclature, yet it seems like a very nicely made ring for the price.Looking at the pictures provided, the brown metal work surrounding the stone is about 17cm wide and 25cm long.the stone is nicely finished, but not as pretty as many stones I have seen of this type. It does have a well developed "tiger eye" the decoration around the ring is nicely done. The top of the ring, inside, is elaborated cut away into filagree, producing two separate layers of metal under the stone. there is a silver purity mark (925) and possibly a hallmark that looks to me like a G with a circle around it. It was packed in a nicely done presentation box, covered in a brown fabric. All-in-all, a very nice ring. I hope some day one of my grandsons will have a hand much bigger than mine and will wear this ring proudly.

Great piece. Fits comfortably. I hope the stone stays in place. Thats the only thing im worried about. I would definitely recommend this ring though. I plan on purchasing a similar Onyx variation with the enamel inlay, next.

Gave this to my husband for our 50th anniversary. After about 3 weeks his finger started turning green and the back of ring was all tarnished. I was so disappointed I went to a local store and bought him a nicer ring for the same value
