I bought it for my 9 yr old granddaughter, but I think it is too small for her liking. 7 MM = 1/4". I did not realize that 7MM would be so small. If the heart were larger, I'd give it 5 stars, but I give 5 stars for the packaging of the charm. It is encased in a small film sleeve, and the chain is encased in an outer film sleeve preventing the charm from being obscured or maybe even being entangled by the chain itself.
