The listing title says it's a freshwater pearl. Down below it says it's a Swarovski pearl. (I got B2) You really have to be paying close attention. The seller should have put "freshwater or Swarovski" in the title. I could tell it wasn't a real pearl as soon as I opened the box. Very disappointing. With that said, it's a pretty design and the gold hardware is high quality and sturdy. I almost returned it, but in the end decided to keep it due to the hardware. I've never come across such strong and sturdy lever backs before. The faux look of the pearls still bug me though. I just keep reminding myself that Jacqueline Kennedy wore glass pearls, so it's OK! :)

Pretty, but not as described. If anyone doesn't know how to test for a natural pearl, slide it across your teeth. If it has a sandy feel then it is real. These are smooth as silk. Or should I say plastic? Insta-return.
