I ordered this ring to use in my upper ear cartilage piercing and I really like the way that it looks. its the perfect size: it fairly lowkey in appearance but the hanging chains are just long enough to add some interest without getting in the way or being uncomfortable.I have a sensitivity/allergy to nickel content in jewelry and therefore I am pretty careful about what metals I use for my piercings. I am happy to say that this one does not appear to have high nickel content as it has caused zero signs of contact dermatitis.This ring snaps together and is threadless, you simply need to insert the back into the tube and apply light pressure until it snaps into place. Surprisingly this holds together extremely well and has not popped out accidently even when lightly pulled on. Its also very easy to insert and remove. I also like that it is very light weight and does not cause any discomfort when laid on or while wearing headphones as many larger rings do.
