MANY years ago, I used to buy quite a few pieces of 1928 jewelry. Had forgot it even existed until I saw these earrings listed. Very happy with the purchase. I think they look very pretty and especially good quality for the price. The blue stone is a unique shade of blue and truly lovely. I'm keeping these but I think they would make a nice gift. Plus, women of a certain age might have a sentimental attachment to 1928 jewelry.

I wanted some blue earrings, saw these on Amazon and just decided to try them. I didn't expect much, thought they'd look cheap and fake, but they're nice! Of course they don't look like genuine stones, but they are quality costume jewelry. 1928 is a good brand. I'm happy. Thank you!

I liked these so much I bought a second pair as a gift. The first set (1st photo) matched the photo(s) shown in the product listing. However, the second set (2nd photo) had a much lower quality setting, suggesting that this second set is not genuine 1928 product. On the upside, the second set had a much darker (and prettier, in my opinion) center stone... and, unlike the first set, the center stones in the second set were free and clean of surface defects. Neither pair of earrings came with the typical 1928 packaging. Still very pretty earrings, but buyer beware.

These earrings are more gorgeous in real life than in the photos! The color is so beautiful and they look truly vintage.

I really wish these came with a leverback clasp. That's the only downside but they can easily be worn with casual or a glow up outfit. I got both the "gold" and the blue and I am just elated!

They are pretty but I had to pay a jeweler to put on new wires. They were expensive to start with, and then I had to pay more.
