I got this jewelry stand thinking i might gift it to my young niece who is starting out her little jewelry collection. She has a box, but I wanted something to allow her to keep her necklaces from tangling yet within easy reach. This was very simple to put together and it took me only about 2 mins to take it all out, take pictures and finish putting it together. I do recommend using the silver screw backs included with the tool bag rather than the colored ones that come on the rods. The silver ones have an integrated washer that fits perfectly within the pre drilled holes and makes alignment a breeze. I think this looks very nice and I particularly like the padded bracelet/watch rod. The linen lined ring and assorted items holders are actually quite nice as well. The earrings holder bar is my least favorite, as I think it ends up looking more low end than the rest of the stand, but once the holes are filled with earrings it looks a little less utilitarian. Overall, I like this enough that I am now keeping it for myself and getting another one for my niece! There were a few minor dings and scratches along a few of the edges, but nothing that would cause me to return it. If you are looking for something to keep bedside or on a vanity to keep some of your most used items on display, this works well, looks nice and helps keep things organized.
