I am posting this message to other buyers that are considering a High pressure jewel steam cleaner!! This machine is probably is a good purchase for a homeowner small operation, with minimum cleaning requirements. HOWEVER! if you are looking for a true high pressure steam cleaner this is not what you are looking for! This is much more suited,for a small low demand jeweler operation. This unit while well made is not adequate for on demand "TRUE HIGH PRESSURE STEAM APPARATUSES" HOWEVER if you need a professional true HIGH PRESSURE steam cleaner, I suggest that you look at the many TRUE PROFESSIONAL STEAM MACHINES! there are many EXCELLENT models that fit the true criteria of what the Jewelers use every day and put it under rigorous use! As I have already stated Amazon carries several models that are true Comercial SPECS! But be advised don't expect to pay less than $400.00 in order to get a true HIGH PRESSURE MACHINE. I have purchased two REAL VERY POWERFUL COMMERCIAL STEAM MACHINES. These units come with excellent warranties and you won't be disappointed with a machine like this one which bareley provides any advertised BAR PRESSURE! this machine gives you a very mediocre amount of pressure and only for about 4or 5 second Bursts at a time! But as I have already indicated as in life with all things YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FORE!! Just look at the models that are listed over $400.00 and you will be very happy with your purchase. My model produces over 4 Bar pressure and will provide this for 30 seconds min. and even more if you require it to remove a lot of crevice dirt and skin oil! As a side note "REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE MANUFACTURER OF THE STEAM MACHINE may indicate, only use distilled water as a cleaner solution! And stay away from COMMERCIAL CLEANERS THAT PROMISE TO MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE CLEANER OUTCOME. IF YOU DON'T STICK WITH distilled water AS I HAVE SUGGESTED, YOU WILL BE REPLACING THE HEATING BAR IN SHORT TIME! The truth of this product is to manufacturer a solid steam cleaner you can't get away cheap, but the first test I made of the real steam machine is : I put 6 loose diamond engagement rings into the strainer basket, I steamed them while rotating the rings, I can only say that the difference was incredible I steamed them for about 30 seconds! Also I suggest that after you steam clean any gemstone that is already mounted put these rings in your household refrigerator just for about 4 to 5 min. This will make the prongs contract back to its's original tightly mounted gemstone! In closing I must say that the investment will amaze your customers and your sales will reveal this!. . . The media could not be loaded. I received the Steamer, it had water inside. I’m not sure if it was used but the top that came with it looks it’s been used. I also received and extra top part and it looks completely new. It work fine now but I’m concerned the item might had been used and returned and might no last working long.
