This necklace looked beautiful, came in a lovely case and being part of the 1928 collection I assumed it would be a quality item but boy was I dissapointed. It came undone as soon as I took it out of the box. I had planned on wearing it that night but first one strand came undone and then the second one very not soon after that but on only one side and there was no way to reattached them. My worst purchase so far.

Unfortunately, the necklace is not as impressive in person......the picture makes them look more jewel tone "sparkly" like peritot stones and I think they are rather dull. I'm not nearly as thrilled as I'd hoped to be on receipt. What's more, it was sitting in my wish list for a while as I considered whether to purchase; I finally decide to go ahead and buy at $24.00, only to see it for $18.00 - more like the price it should have been - at the time of this review. Don't like when these 'switcheroo' type price shifts occur as I don't make purchases lightly and always try to get the best value for money whenever I spend. The necklace is just okay.
