The simulate ruby had scratches on it which is fine knowing it’s basically glass to start off. Lab created isn’t accurate as mine is clearly colored glass. But the stone itself isn’t an issue. The metal is the important part of any ring and from what I can tell the ring itself is gorgeous with a true coating you would use for .925 and when that wears off I can tell you for sure if it’s really silver but that said. So far it seems to be compared to my other rings. For a cut piece of glass the stone looks pretty nice. It could have been set a little more precise but for $20 you are gonna be very happy with a ring Walmart would try to sell you for $80 or better.

To help clear any confusion , as described this is Simulated alexandrite, not lab created. It’s vanadium laced corundum , beautiful stone . Difficult to see in the photos, there are two tones during color change

Beautiful, simple and elegant. The atone is really dark but very nice. Looks great in the sunlight. The ring itself is very simple and plain. It's not really big, so it's fine for a man and would look just as good on a woman. I won't even mention the ridiculously low price. Oh, and the red velvet and gold bag that it comes in makes it great as a gift. I ordered one for me and one as a gift, and the recipient was delighted with it.

I bought this ring, comes all nice looking in s fancy blue drawstring bag, thats where the craftmanship ends. The stone was really loose and i lost it with in 3 weeks, dont know where. And to return it would be a total waste of time and money i decided to write this review, dont waste your money, it'd be better spent else where.

This ring is okay. The "gem" is definitely not alexandrite, it's just purple plastic with no color shift. The marquis gems in my enhancer ring are authentic alexandrite for comparison. This would suffice if you wanted amethyst costume jewelry.

I bought to replace my great grandfathers ring that had a real ruby and white gold that was stolen. I can’t tell the difference in color of the stone. For the price the craftsmanship is also very good. If it is silver I wish they left the coating off, the shinyness takes a little bit away.

This ring felt very cheap and lightweight, almost hollow feeling and it was sized wrong. It looked nice though
