A truly beautiful ring. As everyone else has already said, it looks much more expensive than it is. It's so exquisite and dainty. I love it. If you're looking for something that's Victorian and/or cameo, this is it. However, as one reviewer already pointed out, because the cameo is so detailed it does not look vintage as most shell cameos. That said, the cameo is more of a new rather than old Victorian. I don't mind this. I actually sought out a cameo that's not shell, and I think the extra detailing makes the ring more endearing. As shown in my attached pictures, the cameo background is a beige/pink tone that's almost the same color as my skin (fair with a pink and slight olive tone). I love the color; it'll compliment any complexion and match every single piece of clothing. The only downside, and the reason I'm giving four instead of five stars, is that the ring only comes in size 7. I realize that size 7 is perhaps the "average" ring size, but it's a huge inconvenience for me since I can only wear it on my pointer finger without it moving around uncomfortably and excessively. I wear size 5 on my ring finger, size 6 on my middle finger, and apparently size 7 on my pointer finger. I'd prefer to be able to wear this on my ring finger just because I feel like wearing it there makes it look even more elegant, but I'm keeping it just because it's so stunning. I plan on trying to get it resized if I can find anyone to do it or finding something more temporary to help with the loose fit. Based on the reviews, I don't understand why Amazon hasn't tried to offer this ring in other sizes. If they offered a 5 or 6, I'd definitely order another one. I honesty love this ring so much as it is that I want to order a backup for when something happens to this one, but I'm not just because I'm not happy with the sizing.

Well, I see this item has some great reviews but I have to be honest and say I was slightly disappointed when I received it. I find the picture to be a lot nicer than the actual item. When first tried it on I felt it looked rather cheesy and cheap. I honestly had intended to send it back. But I decided to wear it for the day to see if my mind would change as the day progressed. The more I kept looking at it on my hand it kind of grew on me. I still can't say that I love it, but have decided to keep and where occasionally. The size of the ring is actually perfect. However I find the background of the cameo to me more of a pale salmon color than pink. And as for the carved image of the lady it doesn't really ring as authentic. To me it really looks more like a mass produced product instead of a vintage piece.I have a feeling this ring might look better on a woman of darker skin color. I am very pale so I find it kind of fades in with my hand. Sorry I couldn't rate it more positively but feel the need to be honest!!!
