This is a nice basic wooden rosary, lightweight and simple. I like the feel of the wooden beads - as beautiful as glass or stone beads can be, there's something about the smooth feel of the wooden beads and the way they get warm under your fingers that's so soothing. This would make a nice gift for anyone, but particularly for a man or a boy (first communion or confirmation) who doesn't want anything too pretty or fancy looking. I see the price is currently at only $6, which is very low, I've rarely seen any of these priced under $10.

I like to pray the rosary as I walk some mornings. I got this one for when weather is damp to avoid rusting of my metal linked rosaries. For the price it’s offered at the time of order (discounted to $4.99 USD), I wasn’t expecting much. Boy, was I surprised! It’s a substantial size and the knotted cordage feels quite sturdy. It arrived in a velvet type bag which is nice for gift giving or just to keep it in. If you’re looking for a less fragile rosary to accompany you on life adventures, I’d recommend this one.

This is a nice wooden rosary. Perhaps not made with the most expensive of materials but nevertheless well constructed and probably the best you can find at its price. It's reasonably large, durably constructed, and looks exactly as shown in the photographs. One thing I like, which you can't see in the photos, is that (at least on the variant I selected), the reverse side of the crucifix is decorated with the reverse side of the St. Benedict medal whose front side is displayed on the front of the crucifix. It also came with a small red pouch for safe storage.

As someone who strives to pray 3 rosaries each day, I make sure to buy rosaries that are of excellent quality so they will last on on my rosary walks and as I carry them about everywhere. I love this rosary because:- the rose-shaped beads are lovely and continually remind you that you are truly putting a rose on Mary's crown for Jesus' honor every time you pray a Hail Mary- the wood is a very pretty color- the crucifix is attractive to look at- the cord seems durable- it is a great size for carrying around, not too bulky, noisy or tinyWhat a blessing!
