Definitely costume jewelry, but the “jewels” seem secure enough, and it has gotten several compliments. The clasp is very fiddly and the tip of the pin has a minute bend that doesn’t stop you from pushing it through fabric but does make you have to be extra careful not to snag said fabric on the tip. I may try to use a metal file or something to sharpen/remove the bent part. Good pin for people who don’t like giant heavy pieces that take up half their chest.
