Got two new hole piercings and figured i’d get some hoops to allow the air the help them heal faster..it did! But I’m positive these earrings only extended the healing process. They were fine for 5 months but around the 6th month they started irritating my ears. I thought they looked fine… but maybe I was tripping cause I didn’t have my glasses on…. It wasn’t till I put a flash light on them, that I could see they were green, yellow, and spotting in brown patches, probably corroding. I think they’d be alright if you just want some cheap, nice looking, earrings to wear every once and again but definitely not for healing piercings. If you INSIST on getting these for casual purposes, my advice to you : 1. Don’t get them wet 2. Don’t sleep with them on regularly

These are affordable and I love having 5 different diameters. I do not like that the wider, flat style posts. They are kind of uncomfortable. I'll see if I can get used to them. I washed them, but still got itchy. So I re-washed them all with an alcohol scrub and hopefully that works. Doubting these are real sterling silver posts. But for under $10 bucks for 5 pairs, guess one can't expect that.
