I'm 6 months pregnant and needed these to keep my piercing in place. They thread as they are supposed to- as the instructions describe. You just have to screw the ball on and off a few times (5-6 was the magic number for me). I've been wearing mine for over a week now 24/7 and it hasn't fallen off or given me any skin issues. No, they don't really bend too much if you want to leave them longer, but I didn't buy them for the look- just to keep my piercing comfortably. However, they are super cute and I got the colors I ordered. I highly recommend this product.

Thank goodness it came with extra balls. I put it in maybe 4 hours before going to bed and when I woke up, somehow the plastic ball broke in my sleep. It was tough to adjust the size but once I cut it enough and made it pointy (it's super hard to make it perfectly into a "trapezoid"), I was able to screw the ball on and make new ridges for the ball to stay on. I suggest screwing it on and off more than 5 times in order for the ball to make the ridges on the plastic. It hasn't been a full 24 hours yet so we'll see how well these really work but so far they're comfortable and haven't caused any irritation like some of the other reviews mentioned. I left them a little longer because I wasn't sure how short to cut them and if they needed to be longer than normal belly rings.

2nd pregnancy & 2nd time trying maternity rings. 1st time they just irritated my piercing but this time I haven't gained so much weight, gave them a quick pinch in half to give it a curve, and didn't bother cutting it.One of the "sparkle" balls is rough plastic and does bother my skin right above my piercing being pressed against my belly. The smooth ball didn't do that as much but that one did fall off. There are a few more to replace it so.

The balls on these were cute and true to what is pictured. However the clear bar was a lot stiffer/more uncomfortable than the other barbells I got and were ridiculously longer than I needed. The listing says the bar can be cut shorter but I tried several times on multiple of these barbells and couldn’t get the balls to create a new thread and screw on. I tried wearing one of them at the length they came in and it irritated the piercing hole so much that I couldn’t leave that one in no matter how much I wanted to. Finally gave up and bought some from another seller that had shorter bars that didn’t need to be shortened and were far more comfortable and now the irritation from these is healing up. I would steer people towards listings that have multiple length barbells over these.

I loved these! They definitely helped not stretch my piercing out. Very comfortable and super easy yo cut if needed. You just have to make new ridges or the ball to stay on
