Purchased as a travel case for a necklace with suspended gems that make it difficult to travel with as it couldn't be folded or wrapped and gift box wasn't sturdy enough for travel. Protective but not bulky with nice snaps to secure necklace.

The satin lining inside the lid says "Sterling Silver" in large letters. The item description did not mention this although, if you look really hard at the photo, you can just barely make it out. Also, the box seems to be of very poor quality, looks cheap and top/bottom are poorly aligned. Came inadequately packaged (zip lock bag only) with no outer box. This is definitely going back.
