About the Trinity Knot
The Triquetra, more commonly known as the Trinity Knot, is a Celtic symbol of ancient origin and one of the earliest symbols of Christianity, predating the crucifix by hundreds of years. Scholars theorize that symbol was originally designed to represent a three-in-one concept, symbolizing earth, air and water or mind, body and soul.
When Christianity was introduced to Ireland, the Triquetra became known as the Trinity Knot, which symbolized the Holy Trinity: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The inclusion of the Trinity Knot in jewelry is often associated with eternity and eternal love.

- The sponsor, or creator, mark
