This is a beautiful little necklace for anyone who loves the beach and ocean. It's supposed to be 14K gold; I've compared it to all of my real gold jewelry and I can confidently say this is definitely not 14K. It's extremely yellow-y gold and I can't wear it layered with my other gold necklaces like I'd planned, so that's a bummer. Due to the obviously false advertising I did remove one star. The chain and clasp are decent but I don't think it's going to be a super long-lasting necklace. More of costume jewelry for girls, not women looking for good quality ocean-themed jewelry, so I'd check elsewhere (Etsy, maybe?) if that's what you're going for, here. But overall for the price it is a cute little necklace.

This is a cute and sturdy charm necklace that is not too light or cheap. It is comfortable to wear and looks beautiful. The designs of the charms are beachy with some nautical hints like the personalized initial letter reminds me of an anchor or boat rope. We grew up near the beach on the shores of Lake Erie so I really enjoy beach-themed items, and can wear it with casual or dressy outfits. The material is brass, but has a gold plated coating to both give the appearance of gold, which is a little shiny but not extremely, and it also makes it more corrosion-resistant so it shouldn't easily turn colors or stain your skin. So it seems solid quality and a nice piece of costume jewelry.
