I really wanted to give this watch 5 stars. Here's what I like and don't like about this specific watch.What I like:1. Very well built. This watch is very sturdy, much more that what you'd expect for a $16 watch. Everything -- the face, strap, buckle -- is strong and well-built.2. Cool design. This is a good-looking watch. The face is just the right size -- not too small, not too big. Minute markers are clearly marked. I like the hour markers (1-24, military format).3. Accurate time: I've had this watch 4 days and it keeps time very, very well.4. Awesome value: For $16, this watch is a bargain. I'd expect this watch to sell for $35 at least.What I don't like:1. Faulty Date Indicator: The date display doesn't advance as designed; i.e., I'm not able to manually advance the date. And yes, I followed the instructions and pulled the crown to the first stop. Date does not advance.2. Only one color? I'm not crazy about the military green. A lot of military gear comes in tan/sand/earth tones. I'd like this watch better if I had more color options.Overall:This watch is good, not great. I like most things about this watch, but if it doesn't function as it's supposed to (the faulty date display), then I'm disappointed.UPDATE May 6, 2020: The seller replaced the faulty watch with a watch that works perfectly. The date indicator was a small quibble, but now this watch is superior all the way around. Cool design, accurate time-keeping, bargain price. The seller's customer service people are outstanding. Thanks for going the extra mile to make this customer happy. Five stars *****.

Watch looks exactly like the watch I used when I served. Easy to use, very basic, and built strong and sturdy. Great price too. Two thumbs up in my book.

The watch came nicely packaged in a black box. Presentation was professional. Easy to set the date and time. The holes for the buckle are reinforced with a leather strip, which I've never seen before and that impressed me. It is keeping good time. The watch has a clean and simple appearance. The only thing I wish it had was a rotating bezel. I am a Veteran and appreciate the 24-hour markings. I am a sucker for anything that looks military. I really like this watch. I think for the price it is a watch that will last a long time. It is rated for 50 Meters water-resistant. This is a good product for the price. If you prefer an analog watch over a digital one, this watch will look good on your wrist and keep good time.

I had been looking for a 40mm, field-style, battery powered utility watch for literally years. Tried some more expensive brands (returned for various reasons), and then a Timex, but the date broke after a few months and it's extremely loud.This field watch is perfect in almost every way. It's virtually silent, has kept time over the few weeks I've had it, and has survived showers, etc.The main downside is the night visibility is not great; the luminescence is barely visible even after being out in the California sun all day. But so far it has only been a small annoyance. My only other worry is about the durability, but at this price, I'm just hoping for the best. Honestly one of the best watch purchases I've made in a long time.Update: About a week after my initial review it appeared that a seal had failed and condensation fogged up the lens. Interestingly the watch still worked (but I couldn't see it most of the time). I reached out to the company, and Dora got right back to me and sent a replacement out immediately. I wish more companies had service like that!

I absolutely loved this watch until it came time to replace the battery. The back will absolutely not come off. I spent over $100 in tools and countless hours trying to remove the back, to no avail. Best to spend more money on a good watch that it doesn't cost more to replace the battery than the watch costs. Cheap. Chinese. Crap.
