1. The necklace makes a wonderful looking gift; not too big, not too small for a teenage boy2. The cross is holding up nicely3. But the chain broke after 3 months. I do not know the circumstances of the break so I am ordering him another one, hoping he will be more careful with the 2nd one. I hope he will because4. I gave this to my brother and he loves it. The chain seems sturdy and the cross is medium sized which is preferable to my brother. It's really quite nice. The only con was that my brother likes to put necklaces over his head and the chain was too small for that. I just used some extra chain and extended it. I wish there were chain sizes you could pick from as I don't want to have to buy another chain which would have been an extra 15 dollars if I didn't just have some chain lying around.

I purchased this as a gift for my nephew who has achieved 6 months of sobriety. To serve as a reminder for him if and when he should feel or be tempted that he is strong, brave, smart and is loved by many! He put it on and only removes it when he showers. He has fought bulls in it at rodeo events and it’s still hanging strong! Great value for the money and even a greater purpose behind gifting it.
