Love the look of this sentimental bracelet. And the concept is wonderful.The waxed leather band is beautifully woven and "friction adjusts" perfectly for different wrist sizes.The enamel finish on the alloy metal is brilliant black, well applied, and will likely last a long time.However, the build quality of this piece is flawed is one very important way:The weld point / attachment of the retaining link (the anchor bottom — see second + third photos here) is just too fragile to inspire confidence.And that wee weld point bends with just a tiny bit of pressure ... yikes.The "vessel end" (anchor top) of the bracelet is well attached and the tiny vessel itself seals impressively well.Just the one small flaw ... but unfortunately it could easily sink the ship.
