I looked many places at several of these types of fillable hourglasses. This one was perfect for my use. It was a gift for my niece whose Dad, my late brother, was in Desert Storm back in 1991, before she was born. I filled this with some of the sand that he brought me when he returned home after the war. This piece is perfect for a male or a female, to wear or to hang on the wall or in a shadow box. It's sturdy but classy and sophisticated, and was very well received.

This urn is really durable… I bought this one after my granny passed at the young age of 92. It make me feel a little bit better having her with me and being able to see her ashes. The chain is strong and the urn is durable as well and being able to see the ashes is a plus for me. I’ve had it for a few months now and haven’t had a problem. The seal is good on the cap/top/lid but I will be adding a very small amount of glue to the threads and screw it back on for some additional protection so it stays closed. I highly recommend this product…

Thankfully I decided to test it before putting my loved one in it because the first thing was it came unscrewed easily and then I woke up with it snapped off from the chain and unscrewed if I would of had anything in it it would of been all over me and my bed.
