My step dad recently broke his cross necklace so I got him this one for his birthday. He now never takes it off. There is a typo in the lovely little sentiment that is printed around the necklace in the packaging, but now that I am looking you can see the typo in the picture on Amazon. "You may not have given me the gift of you." And it should say "gift of life". You don't keep it on the packaging so not a huge deal.The reason I have it 4 stars is because I'm a little worried that the black color is going to come off of the chain. It doesn't feel like it's just black metal, it almost feels like it's black painted almost. The cross isn't like that just the chain

This came quickly and was very happy to see the little bag, envelope and card and cross in good condition. The cross is big enough for a young man or even a grown man. I thought it was going to be super small but it's good size! My sons love them and feel grown with their first jewelry! I'd buy again:)
