I was skeptic to buy from china given their metal standards at this price are probably not true metals. I've only bought through Bromdahl for my daughter. A Swedish company, and have never had issues. So this was a trial as my daughter is 3 and wants "dangly" earrings for school... These never irritated her ears, and I love the screw back, I know they won't come out.However, they're a great fit, the back has a lot of room. I take a micro rubber band that I use for her hair, the kind that pull hair out and can fit around an adult finger... I put one between the back and her earlobe to avoid the backing to go forward to the front of her earlobe and pull down. I'll attach photos when I can find them. But the backs are long. And if you don't have a stopper in the back the earring will move forward causing a wear fit from the front view. I think if they provided some rubbers to help the gap in the back that would be great. Given ears are different, I wrap the rubber band about 3 times before it's snug between the back of her earlobe to the screw backing. When I ask how it feels, she tells me good, and I never see much red after I leave her ears, nor do I see her itch. So for the very cheap price these seem to be sufficient. Bromdahl is $25.00+ for earrings and we get the surgical plastic, which have snapped, but you pay for quality, I don't like quantity vs quality.I will recommend her family to buy here as they always want to buy cheap stuff for her and this seems to be a great buy-The display people mention is tacky, but sending a package from Amazon without a wrap is tacky, so you might as well have the extra bucks to wrap through amazon. The plastic baggy the earrings come in isn't set up for a gift unless you decide to gift it yourself, in which just do the work and wrap them yourself. :) Easy.

The posts on these are thick making them painful for insertion into upper ear cartilage. I also didn't like how the post attached to the earring - it's hard to describe, but the way it's attached doesn't allow the earring backer to get tight enough to your ear to hold the earring in the correct position.

The backs fall off easily and the posts are much too long for my 6 year old daughter. Mad I took too long to put them on her so I can’t return.

I bought these earrings for my daughter, specifically because of the cat and rainbow design, the best thing is that so far they haven't turned black or green and it hasn't given her any reaction either.

The product came in a little clear bag so would not say it’s ‘ giftable’ as is. However, the earrings are super cute and well made. My 6 year old loves them and as a parent I like that the backs are a small screw on ball rather than the usually pointy end of the earring. Would definitely recommend if you have little. The screw on back would make it hard for almost anyone to change it themselves however worth the extra effort :)
